MS has decided to shut down their streaming service Mixer.

If any of your fav streamers currently are on Mixer, be sure to check with them to where they're moving their streams.

A sad day for us Facebook haters, although I understand the decision financially. FB opens up a whole world of opportunities for MS & Xcloud.

I forgot about Mixer, i removed it from the home screen as soon as i was able to. Tbh i find a lot of gaming ytubers annoying, quite picky about it.

I wish yt would let us block channels, their algorith for finding reccomended vid is sh-.

Well that was entirely predictable.

I don’t know how to act my age! I’ve never been this old before!

I actually never used mixer, between youtube and twitch there was never a reason.

I didn't really care for Mixer much, but it's still sad to hear. Microsoft tends to have good ideas that they decide to drop instead of putting enough effort in to make them successful, with my favorite example being the Windows Phone. I still have mine because of how good it is, but they're becoming more and more rare because Microsoft just gave up on them after they didn't do well initially.

LOL oh my this is a huge loss for them last year they spent tens of millions to get people from twitch to stream on that platform i tuned into some ninja streams i was always one of 100 or so and now to shut it down this is bigger than the ZUNE failure,

This right here is horrible a quote from the article
