Knocked-out Crew members’ effectiveness has been increased from 0% to 20%

What affect does this have on Jack of All Trades if any?  Normally the skill allows the commander to retain 50% of the first knocked out crew member's abilities.  With the change of a knocked out crew member going from 0% to 20%, will this have any new affect on Jack of All Trades?  Like will a commander be covering 70% (20% + 50%) of a knocked out crew members efficiency?

I heard it was confirmed it was 20% + 50% now. Though I didn't see the confirmation myself so...

It was asked on the community discord, but the post was deleted so I figured I'd put it up here.

Confirmed like they tested it out?  Or did they have a real source to show a stated difference?  Or are they just assuming?

Is it a skill worth training? I've never bothered with it to be honest, I think i remember a thread years ago saying that it was next to useless and a waste of a skill/perk slot.

Confirmed by a former CC (Madnezz). I haven't tested it myself.

So it's an assumption from someone else, not an actual confirmation from WG or an WG mod/admin.

Don't know if it's an assumption. He has to answer that. I sent him your topic :)

No.  I wouldn't say it is useless but it is definitely no higher than a third row skill.  If you have JOAT and Pain tolerance both trained, you can reasonably roll the dice and not carry a med kit.

On well armored heavies yes.  It's also vital to have on a tank which you dont run a med kit.  Example: Obj 705A with and auto extinguisher and two repair kits.  Or Tiger with repair kit, auto extinguisher, and food.

Thanks for that info guys. I may have to look into that for future games.

Got to admit, I always thought the same thing, nice to have, but pretty much a skill to train pretty late on a crew...

...But if those percentages are correct, I think I might have to look at it with a bit more interest. (I'm wondering how much more useful it could be if you add in other factors, (Vents, Pain Tolerance, BIA, Food, Large First Aid Kit...).

...could see a use for it on lightly armoured TD's as well if those percentages are accurate, still not an early skill, but worth considering training earlier than I normally would.

Yeah, I'll see if I can prompt that but no guarantees.  Since I was informed in an official channel by different ones, I trust that it is true.
