I know this has probably been covered somewhere, but the Almighty Forum Search is yielding nothing useful in GD or TD-GV. Simple question: is the 15cm the obvious choice now? It feels like it to me, but I haven’t run many games since the “rebalance” of the tank. Thanks to anyone who replies.

15 is certainly more competitive now but it’s really what map you’re on.

Hmm... then I demand WG let me choose the package after I see the map!

15gun has useless ap and tricky heats. So I switched back to 12 's apcr.

Hard to say because the damned thing is a pinata and just about everything that hits it pens it now. But I went back to the smaller gun, faster and more reliable.

12 is more reliable.

Yeah the 12.8 was always more reliable than the 15, whichever platform it ran on. In my experiments last night, I averaged the same damage between the guns, because the 15 missed more often or bounced. I didn’t fire much HEAT though.

Close ambush type playstyle I take the 15 as the exposure time is pretty awesome. Long range sniping I like the 12 its all in your individual play style.

The few times I’ve played it the 15cm works the best for me. I tend to shoot HEAT a lot though.

I don’t know how to act my age! I’ve never been this old before!
