Will console ever see anything along the lines of equipment 2.0 from PC?  Currently equipment is very limited, with four pieces being dominant over the others by a broad margin.  The recent update PC applied gave much more variety and variability to equipment choice, and helped remold older equipment pieces that were considered obsolete.

As interesting as it could be, I kin d of hope they don't bring improved equipment to console. I think it would bring an unnecessary equipment arms race to console. I also think it world muddy the waters. I also wonder how well it would into console with less bush cover etc and with potential changes to the visions / detection system .com like TV.

Getting new equipment options would only help if there were 6 equipment slots instead of 3. Or if historical equipment was preloaded on tanks and did not take up an equipment slot(ie vert stabs on the M4 series)

What do you mean by an equipment arms race?  It's still 3 pieces of equipment for tank within the same silver prices.   As per having less bush cover, how do you think that would be bad for having alternate equipment pieces that affect fire power, or module health?  If anything all it would do is potential reduce the effectiveness of Commander's vision system.  Or do you have anything specific in mind?

Seems to be a distraction, I don't see how it would improve the game, and the developers have more important things to do.

Would this make things any better? Or would it just be something else that good players benefit from and bad players suffer with? Maybe the total removal of equipment would be better, at least everyone would be on the same level and seal clubbing would be slightly harder.

If we got it they’d probably nerf it.

OOOOOO...... Imagine putting a turbo on the MAUS. Going to be a [edited]200mm Garrett or something to get that monstrosity up and going. While the Type 5 heavy also gets a turbo, but with a blow off valve. So you know, the bois know when you drift around the corner.

“Meh"

How do you think good players would benefit over bad players in the case if more equipment?  All of the new and redesigned pieces are the same range of costs for silver as what we have currently.  It just expands the game more as currently Gun Rammer, V-Stabs, Vents, and Coated Optics are by far the most effective equipment choices.

Too busy? Too busy adding hot wheels and wrestling tanks? Is that more important to you?

I would love to be able to put the "Improved Rotation Mechanism" on the T67

It would restore it to it's earlier glory of being the best circle of death tank in the game

Newly introduced equipment 2.0 system on PC is unbalanced, you can create some wild combination that are just bad for overall gameplay. If they would further balance it and then bring it hear, why not... but not in it's current form, no thanks.

Uhhuh. Since you can only use 3 equipments, which equipment would you be ready to lose so you could use that?

More options require more knowledge and/or talent to be used in the optimal way. The difference might be small, but it will certainly not favor bad players.

What is unbalanced about it? I can see some of the vision stuff being pretty crazy when combined but that comes at the cost of a lot of firepower. Currently, equipment is binary, more gun or more vision since nothing else is even close to worthwhile. 2.0 looks like it gives some heavy options (bonus HP, module protection, traverse) in addition to more camo options. Basically allows specialization more than the current system, again which all comes at the cost of gun performance

+1 for this, instead we get endless metallic reskins, unwanted vision tests, garage sound effects

Don't forget screwing up the vision mechanics. A core fundamental thats been part of the game since inception.

They need to screw with that. Despite no one asking for it.
