It’s something I want them to bring over. Variety would be interesting. It would be fun to try speed or survivability setups on certain tanks while sacrificing the usual gun or vision improvements. I really see no way this would hurt new players and it would give older players new things to mess around with.

“They’re trying to kill me,” Yossarian told him calmly. ”No one’s trying to kill you,” Clevinger cried.

”Then why are they shooting at me?” Yossarian asked. ”They’re shooting at everyone,” Clevinger answered. “They’re trying to kill everyone.”

”And what difference does that make?” Joseph Heller, Catch-22

I saw a video once on how useless the spall liner is.   I would like to see some of the rarely used equipment changed so they are more useful and having more options would be more interesting.

What do you mean by an equipment arms race?  It's still 3 pieces of equipment for tank within the same silver prices.   As per having less bush cover, how do you think that would be bad for having alternate equipment pieces that affect fire power, or module health?  If anything all it would do is potential reduce the effectiveness of Commander's vision system.  Or do you have anything specific in mind?

Think his complaint was regarding the bond equipment that is just better versions of the same stuff. IE - a gun rammer that boosts reload by 15% instead of 10% or vents with a 7.5% crew bonus instead of 5%.

With the bonds required to buy them also being a fairly difficult resource to acquire.

Diversification of equipment is fine and probably needed. Power creep locked behind rare resources is not.

I welcome it personally. I've been enjoying watching Quickybaby and Dezgames make funky set ups and they work mostly. Really spices up a number of tanks. Negate glaring weakness' or buff the strong points. Equipment build diversity will greatly increase. You won't know what each tank is likely using as you can now.

I second Tempest Fox3 here to. Improved equipment: Don't need it, don't want it. On PC, only the best players get it making them even better. Disparity between players is large enough as it is. Gap does not need to be made bigger.

Equipment might be interesting. But the thiing I really want is the rechargable consumables. Rep Kit all 90s would be an improvement.

Competence on the battlefield is a myth. The side which fails the last wins, its as easy as that.

I'd imagine console would not bring over improved equipment.  From the list I posted there is no improved or bounty equipment (better versions of ones available in game).  In my opinion, getting the equipment 2.0 update without the bond tied/improved pieces would be a good thing.

I used to play on PC a lot but between people using mods and enhanced equipment of various types, I found players using the base game were at a serious disadvantage.

I prefer the more even playing field that we have on console.

I think a better system might be a 4-5 slot system where there are 2 primary slots (rammer, vents, vstab, optics) and 2-3 secondary slots (the rest). It would allow people to get more of the niche equipment without having to give up an important piece

What do you find wrong with the newly added equipment pieces such as improved aiming, modified configuration, turbo charger, etc?  How is it an un-fair playing field if everyone can buy the exact same equipment pieces for silver?

I love the equipment additions on PC. Most tanks I haven’t changed up. But a few tanks have really benefited. I think I use the turbo more than any other new equipment. The boost going backwards on some tanks is phenomenal.
