Someone has to ask the hard questions. The purpose of this poll is to somewhat represent what the player base thinks about certain things in the game. There have been some big changes the past year in this game. These questions were the most important ones I came up with.

 

If I missed anything else important, give your thoughts below.

There should be a "Never return" option for the first two questions. Otherwise this is a good poll.

 

Just to share my answers if anyone's curious:

1. Personally I'd prefer +1/-1MM would only remain as an event and not become permanent. 
2. I'd rather not see the True vision test return at all unless the "tanks are always visible" element were removed.
3. The maximum platoon size should remain at five players.
4. I'd say the season system is better than nothing, but is much worse than the previous operations system, so for that reason I'd say no (also, I really dislike the purchasable "season pass" being mandatory for most of the rewards).
5. I like Hot Wheels better than the WWE theme, but I'd obviously prefer neither.
6. I've never been a fan of the Halloween event to be honest, especially compared to some of the really fun side modes (like the Lunar tanks and TOG Boats).
7. I'm not entirely against the idea of reworking arty, but I certainly don't want to see the PC rework (or something similar) and as a whole I'd say arty doesn't need a rework.
8. A "Console wars" event would be great (as others have mentioned in the past it could work similarly to the "Tank Bowl" events, just between consoles instead of nations).
9. I'd rather see tanks get rebalanced rather than maps (especially since many map reworks actually made the maps worse), but I'd like to see both happen rather than just one.
10. The Lunar mode is definitely my favorite "fun mode", although it would make more sense if the next side mode is the Christmas event.
11. Commander mode PvP is better than PvE, but only when you're matching Commanders against other Commanders (and not against a group of individual tankers). 
12. As a side event I wouldn't be against a Team Deathmatch, respawning sort of mode with limited lives, but I wouldn't want to see it in regular gameplay (neither as a "test" like the True Vision test nor as a gamemode like Encounter or Team Destruction).
13. I'd be for a premium ammo test that would give more of a tradeoff for using premium ammo, depending on exactly how it's handled.
14. Polls like this should be considered, but not as a representation of the community as a whole.
15. Having in-game polls would be a good way of getting a better "full community" opinion. At the very least they'd be useful right after certain tests and events.

WG should absolutely, but not like PC, get stunned for the whole game or losing half of your health is both stupid and not fun.

Maybe a slightly faster reload, but alpha massively nerferd.

Work on match making? Since +/-1 nothing but blowouts.

 

Turn down RNG. Put loaded dice back in the game. When you load premium, you still struggle to pen. Low roll pen value, low roll damage value and you just spent 4000 credits for a bounce on a weak spot.

 

Clean house at WG and have people who love the game and want to see it excel in the future.

• +1/-1 Permanent (This will surprise people as i prefer +2/-2 but it's what 70% of the Community wants)
• True Vision - Event (Keep working on redoing maps, more foliage etc, it should be a while before it comes back, Not fun in current state)
• Platoons 5 to 3 (Yes, Streamers will say No as will play with 2 less friends but 5 man platoons are broken for better or worse)
• Season Passes (No, will always disagree, I understand why from a business sense however)
• Hot Wheels or WWE? (Neither, should have a Historical Collaboration, neither HW or WWE bother me too much)
• Halloween - Yes Enjoyed (Inferno + Dread Dozer are fun)
• Arty Rework? (Yes but NO STUN, that is important, Instead just tag the target for 10 seconds (15 for Heavies) where they show on the map and outlined, any hits by the team count as Assisted Damage)
• Console Event - Most will Vote Yes but i vote No, Bored of Console Wars and blaming the other console for bad teamwork
• Rebalance Tanks (Maps would be nice but Tank Balance is more important, Just change the map rotation so we don't see the same map a lot)
• Fun Mode (Lunar Mode is fun, so is Togboats, i don't really enjoy Toy Tanks, Halloween is my favourite)
• Commander Mode (I prefer PvP, In all honesty i'd remove it and fetch back Proving Grounds, REDO THE SEASON 1 EVENT WITH THE FV4202 P and PANZERSNACKER)

 

Valor and Dream Machines are my favourite ops of all time (Fetch back Stage Skip Gifting, That was a winning formula)

All this plus 1 minus 1 crap needs to go everyone here is blind as a bat fire up a Tier one to Tier 4 tank you will have what you want and guess what? its broken.

 

Why is this +1/-1 broken? because 0 of the tanks were balanced around it you have tier 4's with tier 6 guns/stats or certain tier 2's that will never be challenged. Heck the valentine 2 now is like a maus the  awhile back my V2 there were 2 pz js tanks attacking me i got up walked away came back few mins later as it was tdm i lost 0 hp killed both GG.

 

I hate the lower tier's as they drive away new players and reveal if they put in plus one minus 1 without a huge tank balance then there will be the have and have not's of the tank world. Its already 60% russian scrub lords out there firing he rounds in there overpowered russian tanks with the MM change know one will be using a large amount of tanks you will just see top armor/guns everywhere.

 

I mean look at tier 9 and or 10 for tank usage stat's.

The only answer I needed to annotate was Halloween.

I love the holiday, I just wish the event would be a bit more worthwhile crew training wise.

Also the Prok map suffers from all the things Prok always suffers from (players wandering aimlessly, sitting at the back/hill/irrelevant swamp etc), so if we could have a couple of different maps that would be fab. Hell (baddamtish) I'd take Haunted Abbey over Prok Swamp

Yeah that probably too but also the amount of people who go to the forum is just a very small percentage of the people that actually play the game.

So polling is going to be biased more towards the loud minority even if the polling itself isn't biased.

I knew this when creating this thread, hence why I added the last two questions. I really think WG could use polls to help get direct feedback from players though. The key would be to have them be In-Game polls. When you boot up the game and login, there’s the option for it. So essentially it would reach more players, and be more accurate than the forums. I still think this poll offers good feedback, but definitely has a bigger error margin, being that it’s in the forums. Overall, it was mostly just for fun to see what others thought.
