You may think you are alone, but you are far from alone, everyone in your country stands alongside you. You may feel depressed and/or sad, but you are not alone. There are thousands of broken hearts out there, Covid has changed our lives for ever, there have been more divorces in this year than any other year. Tonight when you sit down at the dinner table with your family, be grateful that you are with them, know there are thousands of people stranded half a world away from their loved ones and the ones who need them most. If you know someone who needs support, give them the support they, give them a gift, flowers if you can, maybe a virtual gift, those all mean something, be generous, it will make you feel better too . If you need support, reach out for it, use the resources you have.

We will all remember the year 2020, the year we all lost so much,2020 the year we all learned so much, the year we learned so much, the year we will never heal from because broken hearts cannot be mended, the year that taught us the true difference between lonely and alone.

lets hear a #UnitedWeStandDividedWeFall from everyone!

p.s. lets try not to derail this thread like the other one...

See you all out there!:honoring:

OH HET...

Seriously, please leave any political talk off of the forums.

That goes for anyone else posting as well. This thread may have been made with good intentions but if the discussion begins to get political again it will end up being locked just like the last one.

2020 is a year I wish I could erase from my mind.  I lost my wife of 30 years in April of this year.  Those of you with remaining family remember how blessed and fortunate you truly are.  Family and health are a precious commodity.

My condolences buddy

What exactly is considered 'political' here?

The mere mention of Covid, or even masks, seems to be considered 'political' in the US, and many people have died unnecessarily as a result. This is a very real, deadly health crisis, and trying to ignore it obviously doesn't work. The virus continues to spread and kill, no matter how many people refuse to accept that it even exists.

My conolences. I recently lost my mother and an uncle (pre Covid). It truly does leave a real void in your life. That is why it is so important to keep losses to this virus to an absolute minimum. There have been far too many worldwide already. And everybody lost leaves many more missing them. This has to be stopped.
