Liam,

 

Since it's "painfully obvious" what a bad decision this update was (at this specific time of year when WG definitely will not have time to address the numerous issues that need to be resolved before the company goes on its holiday break later this week), so doesn't it make sense to simply revert back to 5.0 (temporarily) so the dedicated/passionate WoT community members can enjoy playing this game during the extra time that's available (only) over the Christmas/New Years's holiday break?

 

After the holiday break, there will be plenty of time to sort through all the gameplay issues/suggestions in order to allow the game to evolve in a manner that's deemed positive by the overall community (in other words, the way a major update like this should be handled).

How about they claim that this was the beta test or even the [edited]up that it has been and revert us back to the real game that people generally liked. That way everyone can be glad that the worst thing about the game was the abysmal map rotation and getting one shotted by artillery on prokhorovka.

they call a regressive downgrade from 5.0 to 0.6 an update. I call it drug fueled madness.

Once we get used to the new version of the game we don't want to go back. That's why after the mourning ball of the first days and the occasional fixes, there are more and more people who like the new update. In a few weeks the subject will be exhausted, no one will be talking about version 5.

why play an unplayable game after being drugged and [edited]ed without consent? In order for a game to move forward, it actually requires a playerbase.

That would be very savvy of them. Rollback for one week then "reconsider" your update based on numbers.

Not sure why people are not understanding the it's either forward or die.  It's not a mode--it is the game.  There is no going back.

Though much of the update was a backward step in the blind rush to become Armoured Warfare 2!

You could have easily gone back after day one or two. Now it’s too late.  The choices they made were just wrong and everyone will have to live with the ramifications.

Maybe he is just realistic? There shall be a reason why they did that update. And imo they know what they have done but for some reason are not willing to tell us why. Licensing issues? Not enough money anymore and the new version is cheaper? Wrong planet constellation? We simply don't know. Aparently the old version caused problems. Which ones that is actual the main question here.

thats why pc has an actual test server for players to give feedback unlike console.

Yes. And for consoles it seems to be too expensive to have test servers. Other online games which are from PC also don't have them. (STO for example)

You are welcome to go to PC.  As said above, its not possible for another test server--you'd have to do it for two systems as well and those two systems are difficult enough to manage apparently.
