Hi! 

 

Found an issue across both my little sisters and brothers accounts when they've been selling Tech Tree Tanks that have equipment on them. The game is saying they're being given over a million for the selling the tank, but doesn't give the stated amount of silver. Tickets have gone in for both accounts (poppy1606-x and aKtiv x kB-x) about this issue also.

 

I cant see this being reported by anyone else yet, and figured this needed reporting as silver is important to the game

Same here, I have been selling 5 tanks a day. On the final "Hold to Sell" it gives you a silver figure (approx 1.5m for the Nashorn I just sold with equipment) and then when it adds the Silver to your total it adds a smaller figure (just under 1m in my example)

Is it possible that the stated sale amount includes any equipment at "full price" where it now only gives back 50% of the equipment price upon selling since the 6.0 update?

I'm just guessing as i haven't checked the numbers.

I had thought this might be the case, but I sold a tank yesterday and got more back than it showed......  so I have no idea what they have done.

When I sell my 5 tanks tomorrow I will keep an accurate note for each one to see if that helps explain it

Ok, sold 5 tanks today and recorded the silver figures. It does seem to be linked to equipment.

I sold 2 tanks without equipment (except the Enhanced Target Info) and all the figures for silver added up, and I got what was shown in the log and on screen.

 

The 3 I sold with equipment all had Advanced Optics, Advanced Concealment, Improved Ventilation, and Enhanced Target Info.

For these 3 I received the figures that popped up briefly in the garage after the sale, and not the amount shown  on the sale screen or in the log.

Rather oddly the lowest Tier cheapest tank had the greatest difference of 100,000 silver, and the highest Tier tank had a difference of 26,750

For some players the silver differences might be material, but if I start playing regularly again I think I might just about have enough.

I just had this happen to me.

 

Just unlocked the P.43 Bis so I sold my P.43 for silver.  Amount I was supposed to receive was 911,625.  Game log says I received this amount.  Actual amount received is unknown, but significantly less than 912k, if any at all.  I was sitting somewhere around 1mil credits before my last match... unsure of the exact amount.  Finished the match and received 100k credit from the season plus income from the match.  After selling the tank I have 1,181,678.  This amount is about what I had expected to see in my account prior to selling the tank.  I remember thinking I had enough to pay for the P.43 Bis outright but that I wouldn't have enough credits to equip it.  If the amount went up after selling the P.43 at all, it certainly was not a 912k increase.  Sent a ticket.

 

Consequently, the purchase price for a P.43 is 375,000, and I had no equipment on the tank.  I'm not sure I should have ever received 912k credits back from the tank... unless it still costs credits to unlock modules?

I have sold two tech tree tanks with equipment on them.  There is a prompt that indicated the equipment would be sold with the tank and stated the amount of silver I would receive. When I sold the tank I received less silver than the stated amount. It doesn’t appear that we are receiving the silver for the equipment still on the tank. I would have sold it separately if the prompt didn’t indicate that I would receive the silver for it.

 

I would also note that it is very easy to mistakenly sell equipment. There is no prompt that indicates you are selling equipment when you have mistakenly highlighted an equipment slot with something in it already.  Also, if you mistakenly sell the targeting computer you receive 0 silver and it cost $490,000 to reinstall.  If you have to pay to reinstall you should receive the discounted silver price when you sell it.

Seems WG have a dastardly plain to get players to use more silver or deplete players silver reserves. The sliver economy is screwed up in 6.0.

Update on my ticket to WG...

 

Received a response from WG player support to my ticket stating I did not receive 912k credits for selling my P.43 tank, despite the game log stating I should have.  Player support responds with "You received 187,500 credits when you sold the P.43.  Hope this helps."

 

Ummm, no, it doesn't help.  If I received 187k credits, and I should have received 912k credits, then I was given 725k credits less than I was supposed to.  They're not even trying here  Just doing quick calculations, based on the Gold and Silver economy in the WoT store, 725k silver is about $7-8 worth of credits.

 

Update on my update.  WG Player Support is now blaming ME, saying the problem is not with their game, and that the issue is with the UI on MY end.  The UI "on my end?"

This is really boring. Same problem on 50tp

It so 4.2 - 2.7 equal 1.5 million

Multiplie by 2 and you have what I've bee stolen by wg in two tank sells

Thanks, we'll take a look at why the display is still showing the wrong amount. You are receiving the correct amount of Silver.

50% Cut from the Full Cost (Gold Amount * 200)
then possibly 50% Cut from Equipment (Equipment Silver Cost / 2)

So 3500000 to buy it origin, all the upgrades and all the equipment, only 2700000 now? Why 4200000 in store when you sell?

Happened to me too this weekend.  RUDY medium tank.  Game said I would get over 3,000,000+ for it, but when I sold it, it only gave me 2,000,000+ for it.  Even the log said I got 3,000,000+ for it while the UI in the top right corner said I only got 2,000,000+ added to my silver bank.  I entered a support ticket too.

@maxchaos I sold my tank (SU-100) ONLY BECAUSE the game said i would get 1000000 silver, soldnit and the log said I got 1000000 silver bit my silver only increased 300000. I would NOT have sold the tank if i would have known I would only get 300k fornit. Ticket filed - NOT holding my breath...
