So I posted about this earlier and PM'd, and no response. So I thought I'd try one more forum post.

 

Quick backstory for those who know:

 

Used to be that if you (1) researched every tech tree tank in the game AND (2) bought and drove for at least one battle every single Tier X tank, then you would get a shiny awesome coin.

 

Which was what I was grinding for since joining on the PS4 a few months after the launch.

 

... but then they got rid of the coin. Because of cost, or the die to stamp the coin broke, or reasons.

 

So they offered two premium tanks for that goal.

 

At this point, I just want to know if there is anything. Because, honestly, it takes a LOT of time to grind all those tanks and buy all those Tier X tanks! Like, a lot! I finished in December, and I'm like ... okay, is this it?

 

So please ... what's the deal? Am I just S.O.L. Do I tell my ever-suffering spouse that yes, she can laugh at me for all that wasted time?* Is there anything, anything to show for a little over four years of grinding lines, and then hearing, "Hey, we're going to add some more nations and Tier X tanks ...."

They stopped doing the Coins and Rewards years ago lol.

Yeah I finished all of mine about 7 months ago and was told to get bent when I asked about a reward.

Oh that’s a bummer. I thought when Rai announced the coins were discontinued she said you still get a tank though.

Well, that would be pretty disappointing.

 

Seeing as they now seem to hand out Tier VIII Premiums like prophylactics at the Olympic Village, and Tier X Premiums as Participation Trophies, you would think that grinding every single tech tree line and buying and driving every Tier X tank would be worth a flag voucher, or something.

I believe the last data pull for the coin was 12/31/2019 so not exactly "years ago"...LOL. At that time they issued coins to those who qualified (some shipments were delayed due to Covid but the coins were in storage according to Raibot at the time). After that they were no longer giving out the coin but were giving players two premiums tanks of their choosing instead of just one.

 

The last I had heard, this was still the case but then Raibot moved on and the new CM came aboard. It is too bad that they lurk here on the forum but won't chime in and give players a clear and precise answer on the subject. If a player finishes all the grinds and gets all the tier X tanks, there absolutely should be a reward of some sort.

Thanks for posting Loki. Hopefully we get an answer. The silence or them ignoring the question is quite frustrating. 

A simple yes or no get lost suffices. 

 

I’m one tank away from getting my STE. Depending on this answer I’ll buy the remaining tier X’s or simply don’t even bother to. 

All I really wanted from this game was that coin.

I KNOW! I still can't believe they got rid of it. I would have paid for the S&H if that was the issue. Honestly, would have paid for the coin too (if they limited it people who had "earned it&quot. 

 

But the silence on this is weird? I know that they were offering the two premiums for a while, but doesn't someone, somewhere know what the policy is now? Even if it's just, "Sorry bud, shoulda woulda coulda grinded faster."

that's not true. They took the last data in December 2019 and shipped the coins out early 2020. That is not years ago..

From what I've put together over the last year the coin ended Dec 2019, there was one more data pull after that for the 2 premium tank with no coin reward but that was a one-off. It doesn't seem to have been done since and Minto said previously around last summer that he thought the program ended after that one data pull. 

 

At the time they said they would be looking at offering some other reward as likely an in-game item but were very vague and nothing seems to have come of it since.

I had the recollection of the coin ending in December 2019, and I heard about the two tanks after that, but I appreciate the update. So ... can someone get The Powers That Be to commit to this? Some kind of reward for the grind?

 

Maybe .... grind all lines, EARN YOURSELF A TOG II.

Even if the Data pull was as you said, the final cut-off wasong before that. So yes, it was years ago... LOL!

The cut-off was February 2019, we are now 2021, plural means more than 1, being 2 years Its valid to say "years ago". 

 

I'm glad you're getting no coin if you're struggling to count.

Incorrect.  The last data pull for coins was from March 4 2019 to Dec 31 2019.  The cutoff was Dec 31, 2019, 1 year and 2 weeks go.  Minto posted in June that they were still trying to ship coins to those that qualified in that time period.  You should probably refrain from telling others they can't count when you are unable to do so yourself.

I was thinking about that goal too.
The work is huge. You can't pretend nothing has happened.
After the thanks for participating for so long, even a single tank would be enough, but it must be a symbol.
A tank with strengths and weaknesses like all the others, but a tank created on purpose and which owns it only and exclusively those who have reached the goal.

Great idea. I love your suggestion. Hopefully they do something.

 

I would propose the Tiger I (221 I think was). 

It’s the Black/Dark tone Tiger I that was shown on the previous video introduction of the game.

It even had a logo on the front side of the tank, can’t remember which side.   (drooling for that tank).

 

Something unique like that for acquiring all tanks (After the coin was terminated and only for recent players who got no coin) would be incredible, even if it’s not this specific Tiger I.

How much simpler do you need things explained to you? We are 2021, the coins were 2019, that's TWO years. 

 

Should probably keep quiet when your self-entitlement ishandicapping your possible education.
