wgbc is clearly out off their minds. 1250 gold for stupid commander with no special skills? who will ever pay for something like this?

Now everyone knows why it costs so much silver too recruiter a new commander. WG was always planning on selling novelty commanders for 1250 Gold.

That's a lot of games saved without Sixth Sense or anything at all.

Some may see the value in it.

Edit: I still have 3 Hot Wheels commanders twiddling their thumbs unassigned so it's not for me.

And a lot of games training them. WG wiped the last lot. No guarantees in this game though.

 

Plus. In a few weeks, months, they'll sell better commanders with 130% earn rate or higher...

they no different from regular ones. those 500k gold have 1 skill as well. there is no special sound or voice for them  i really don't understand

I assume you meant silver?

I don't know if they come with anything. Do they have 1 skill unlocked too?

i think  n a few months or maybe weeks they sell commanders with more than 9 Skills. Only 2 months after we skill the crews the come out with a new skill. Its 90 Gold when u switch it now.

Ah. In that case, yes, they're an overpriced Commander skin.

I suspect there will still be enough buyers. Plus this type of Commander now has a (known) monetary value that can fill up bundles etc. even if some people don't want them.

Yes I also believe they'll release commanders with more skill slots. Also higher earn rates and as well as silver bonuses on commanders. They didn't change the crew/commander system for nothing. Its obvious they had a plan for changing systems.

Yeah, in other words they'll start selling the skill slots they took away back to us. Sounds about right.

Shame. The old crew chests used to cost £1.19 each, I think, so were much cheaper. Even if you used to take a punt on the nationality. These days with crews being multinational I cant see that anyone is short of a trained crew after playing for more than 5 minutes.

1250 gold = 500k silver. These commanders might have special voice prompt or something that’s why they’re being offered in gold only. Or maybe they have licensing attached to it.

These Commanders were available during the Hot Wheels™ Season.  Some were season rewards, some were included in Hot Wheels tanks bundles, and some came from the special Crew Chests you could buy from the MS/PS Stores.  1250 Gold is $6.99 USD and a Crew Chest was originally $1.99 or so..... 
 

In any case, they’re nothing more than themed portraits... no special voiceovers, no special bonuses... no more than one open skill slot.

They should atleast have 3 skill slot open for that much gold. I can get the same commander ingame for 400k silver just no fancy icon

recruits cost 500k, not 400k
