The game was more popular before they started [edited]with it. A few weeks back I clenched my teeth and struggled through the 6.0 changes and now have managed to mostly come to terms with it. Now they're executing the wounded.

How many people will now completely bypass the new game mode without ever giving it a try? Way to cut the legs off your new mode!

How about Turbo tank?  Its a wheeled vehicle though.

I am betting that said mode will prove just as popular as their introduction of 'Commander' was; the existence of which, will then be treated as viable only by incentivizing players to choose it with many inducements, at the expense of quality of gameplay, and which will later be cited as evidence for its actual success, rather than a mere drain on company-resources that cannot be justified on its own merit.

Why is it, that WG act like teenagers? They never learn a thing. Always go with the stupid ideas and think it's amazing. I honestly believe that they do not play this game nor even understand this player base. You'd think by now, that they'd get why we play this game, instead of the other two tank games on console. By the way, I ain't even surprised Lol its part of the course with WG console.

That's easily worked around. Bonus season progress. Mode specific ops. They'll find a way to force it and fudge the numbers to demonstrate what a phenomenal success their wondrous creation has been.

I guess they're basically saying to established players that, like 6.0, if we don't like TV, we can take it or leave it. I assume they're betting on this new mode attracting new players to the game. It seems they're taking the gamble once again that they can take established players for granted.

Im confused, will we still be able to play the game as it is today? tiers 3-10 wouldnt change? 

 

and then they are adding the new modern level with TV, smoke, and this will be in tiers 11+?

 

also - what is a patch kit, sounds like a the re-usable repair kit we have

Separate mode... they said it’s a separate mode.  All of it will be separate from the “normal game”.  They specifically said “none of this will effect the WWII game”.

The burning question is will this be a tacked on side game or is it going to be the primary focus of future development.

 

Either way it's going to split an already small player base.

By the sounds of it, it's all the stuff that WGCB wanted to bring into the current game, but were put off by the feedback, so it's now all introduced as a new mode.

I guess it could work, it seems that WT works with a number of modes with different play styles. Will be interesting to see how it looks and works.
