I got the Type 59-II, is the King Dragon worth getting at 196,000 Free XP? I see it has a 130% [Edited: Free Crew] XP boost and a 0.17sec load advantage over the Type 59-II. If you have both, do you notice a difference? Used to see them a lot but they kind of disappeared.

In a word, no. You would hardly notice the difference, apart from the horrible red colour the King Dragon gets!
PS: The King Dragon gets a commander XP boost of 30%, not a Free XP boost. FreeXP is the standard 5%

Type 59-II has more noticable advantages. IE Better engine power, better accuracy.

I'm a little disappointed in the Type 59-II (which I bought at 50% off before the earn op).
The standard pen is very low for a Tier 8, and even the heat pen is only 250.
The reload time is also quite long.

Just wondering with TV, was the mcdragon at a disadvantage.

200 isn't bad at all compared to the advantages it has, the problem is the devs don't get balance and have put the Draugen and Tier 8 Cent 7/1 in the game. Ravioli, T-34-3, STG, Bourrasque and Chimera all have high alpha low pen guns. I doubt we'll ever get the logic behind WGCB giving the Draugen and Earthshaker an L7 with 236 base pen and 210 HESH pen.

No. King Dragon is better crew trainer but Type 59 II is overall better tank.

Last True Vision test, all my King Dragon games were excellent. And my best one was on snowy Malinovka! I find that belief the garish tanks are at a disadvantage to be a complete myth with this system. All my gawdy looking tanks performed well.
I was under the impression both tanks had the same stats apart from the crew XP bonus. I'm quite sure that's true for PC. This news that there are actual differences surprises me. They're supposed to be the same tank right?!
