What is it in WW2, like 3 seconds a tank has to remain motionless behind cover to get the camo bonus?

In CW with TV, the bush should be invisible for an even longer period of time as thermal/infrared sights are going to still see the heat signature from a tank that has been running. As I know the CW fans want that realism over WW2:)

Allow the T92 light tank to be played in CW.

Let's kick this off!  What tanks are we hoping to see in CW when the Lights come in in July?

We know there will be a number of variants of Sheridans for the Western Alliance, but what about the Eastern Alliance?  Will we see BMP/BMD's?

Will we see Lights from nations other than the US and the USSR?

Personally I hope we see the Scimitar (British) and hopefully the Bradley IFV.

Any others you can think of?

What is the point of them with true vision? They would be destroyed instantly.

Light tanks were the best class when they did the second TV test.  They jacked up their camo values a lot.  This prevented other tanks from getting the red outlines and locking on unless very close.

With vegetation/soft-cover, you could get really close to red tanks.  You could spot the reds through the brush, but they couldn't see you even when firing if you backed up enough.  Although I don't expect it to be like that in CW.

Last time I played the Vanguard with Advanced Traction and fuel on Fredvang, I hit a small rock I didn't even see.  I just tumbled and instantly exploded.

Wheelie boys have better suspension and even roll cages:)

And if CW is going to have better realism they will tone down the ridiculous physics, as haven't heard of desert storm scouts tumbling and exploding from rocks they couldn't see...............

WW2 has not TV and majority is not even asking for it. CW has it, and whoever enjoys it, plays there.

And whoever doesn't enjoy it cries on the forums. Constantly.

Did you seriously attempt to bash true vision for a "proper" vision mechanic?

Oh you mean the one where 40,000lb+ tanks sitting on a hill in the wide open, blasting massive cannons with fireballs shooting out over 4 metes long while shaking the very earth itself for over a mile stay hidden behind a magical invisible wall?  You mean THAT WW2 mechanic is for the "sane" and it's not dumb?  Give me a break.

Perhaps you are aware that people that are literally insane have no grasp of reality yes?

Hmm the vision mechanic that knows the human eye can in fact see things that are huge over 1KM away very easily.  Putting a big camo colored sheet over it doesn't make it disappear.

Not to mention what happens when the thing starts moving...

By the way they have never used "light" tanks to spot in WW2 or modern war.  That's done by boots on the ground, tanks are NOT stealthy.

You are welcome to enjoy "fake vision" ww2 and hate realism vision in CW all you like.

Speaking of insane. Do you think camo nets and camo paint were invented by bored soldiers with an artistic flair. Idiot. So obviously camo works. You don’t always see your enemy. It’s called the fog of war, look it up. On top of that it is one of the key mechanics driving WOT tactics and strategy. I’m not sure what [edited]game you play but it isn’t WOT. Either way just stay over there in War Thunder 2 and keep playing the dumbed down version. My comment wasn’t aimed at idiots like you who have a fan boy attachment to a mechanic that the majority of the player base hates. It was meant as an honest solution and first step to making MA more popular. Align the rules with WOT, incorporate a range of tank classes (maybe without arty or limited to 1 per game) and it might have a chance. If not it’ll be as dead as your brain.

Oh, and by the way, I don’t need to bash MA, it’s doing a bang up job of that on its own.

Sounds like you're applying to join 1CAB!

Every member needs to demonstrate that they can roll their tank/fall off a bridge/cliff/wall/other tank and kill themselves with Style!

Scouts in MA won't run like WW2, much less COD etc. If they are adding ATGM's they also have to add guidance etc, not to mention Soviet tanks ability to fire them. Then theirs SHTORA, Arena, anti missle systems etc. Add off map Artillery, and CAS and so on, don't see all that happening, player base doesn't like one shot kills etc, like it more arcade. Anyone who wants all that goes to Warthunder or Steel Beasts, for that itch.

There is a reason I avoid going over bridges.  I will take the long way around....

I have blown up more on Cliff from the small drops at the spawns than the big cliff too...whoops...missed the road...

Think you might be correct, CW or MW might just be arcade mode, be interesting to see what they add or don't add as far as trying to simulate actual modern warfare. It surprised me considering how much new content MW could have introduced.....that instead it's a one dimisional watered down mode of of only one class of vanilla tanks as is......which is further limited by only two trees of the same class.

The lack of lethality is incredibly arcade, I'd be playing coop and a red would park out in the open, giving you it's flank, and you could pump round after round into it unopposed, and it would take 5-6 or rounds to kill it, even though your hitting it in its exposed rear.............. Its closer to playground tag then MW.

They can bring in whatever they want as long as it’s capped at two per team. Not four or five like ww2 mode, completely kills the gameplay.

Modern light tanks are more like Leopard 1 style tanks, thin armour but almost equivalent guns to MBT's and very mobile. IFV's should be a seperate class entirely to light tanks.
