just unlocked this silly tank from the season.....why? its i think the only tier 2 that faces 4 making it objectively the worst t2 in existence. its not like it was strong at t2 or t3 games

Cos WG make changes and forgot to add these changes to the T2. Probably laziness.

It one of the three best tier II tanks in the game. I drove it the other day in Port, weaved right through the enemy lines back and forth, and took only two hits while dispensing generous amount of clips into the opponents. They never stood a chance. Giving it detrimental MM is a way of balancing it.

Note that the T1E6 is a lot better (same gun with better gun handling, better armored and a lot more hit points), but Wargaming thinks it's balanced at tier II.

With standard ammo it's virtually useless. With premium ammo that changes to only mostly useless. It's only strength is speed, but the BT series tanks are basically as fast as it while not being entirely crippled in the firepower department or MM department. If you get a tier IV match in the T2 Light you can do nothing. Because you won't be able to actually damage half the enemy team and the half you can damage are irrelevant to your teams chance of winning anyway even a tier III game is a bit much for the thing.

FYI, The T1E6 doesn't get the same gun. The T2 Light gets the 20mm Hispano from the old tier 1 tank. While the T1E6's gun has the same name. It gets more penetration with both standard ammo and premium ammo.

Bit of interesting trivia from a habitual clubber: they eventually removed the fast autocannon option from said tier 1 tank, leaving only a single shot gun or semi auto cannon available.

I wonder if I had anything to do with that.
