So i started casually grinding the chezh line and tier 3 was fun tank, now im at the tier 4 and its so bad that words can describe it.  Now why is it bad? mostly because it has the penetration of a tier 1 tank, I dont have the top gun yet but  i was against a t34 today and the gun on the vz 39 is not able to pen t34 frontally LOL. and i checked matilda s armor, and im not able to pen it anywhere from the front of the tank  AND i cant even pen matilda s side armor even if its not angled, thats how bad the penetration is. oh and i almost forgot, the damage of the gun SUCKS 50 dmg per shot, (IF youre able to pen it). oh yeah a couple more things, it turns like a boat, no a yacht, its slow as [edited], no armor, the only thing good on this tank is the 10 degrees of gun depression. its crazy how bad a tank can even be, its truly a tier 2 at tier 4

Yeah. The CZ line in general is poor.

They nerfed the X because it was overperforming but then put its gun on a much better vehicle that is apparently balanced.

The IX is good but it’s a tier IX so you have to play Xs a lot.

The V and VI are ok but why play them when there are op premiums at those tiers that you can’t even compete with.

So to sum it all up. Go down a soviet TT instead :)

The Tier 6 and 9 are the gems of the line, but as dwarf say you'll be fighting OP Premiums, so to get the best from them you'll need to spam a lot of Prammo.

They are good fun tho, once you can afford to run them ... worth sticking with imho

A little gem awaits you at tier 6

So you have no basis to make this judgement.

I absolutely love Czechoslovakian tanks. Grind is kinda steep, but 9-10 tier grind was easiest grind that I have expirienced, even now. I'm grinding TVP50/51 just now. I missed The Machine while it was available, and that by a few points, cos I was bussy back then and didn't have time to do all missions. Back in the day, they were much tougher than today. If The Machine ever shows up again, I will definitely pick it up, but that don't mean that I don't love the Czechs anymore. Played The Machine and TVP and both have their advantages and shortcommings.

It's a shame that we've got meme Sturmpanzer line while the PC players got extraordinary Czech heavy line in the same time.

The best thing you can do while grinding Czechs is to skip until tier 5 if you have free XP available. Tier 6 is excellent, 7 and 8 are mediocre but you can definitely make them work. at least I succeded in that. So, if I can, than anyone can. I'm an average, old player.

Just a heads up, the tier 8 is a notable and reliable pain in the rear end for grinding and slowed this line down to a crawl.

Suggest you save up as much free xp as you can to at least get through through it faster when you to end up getting to it.

The tier 9 and 10 are both worth it though.

The good thing about the TVP is that it will teach you caution and patience. It reinforces these lessons with PAIN. So much pain...
