Considering the only thing behind me at any given time are my teammates, pretty sure that mythical guy behind me isn't even there. I'm always the first one out of the gate from my spawn to post up and do some scouting of my own.

Even in the latter stages of a match, I'm not dumb enough to put myself in positions where reds can just casually get behind me, always try to keep teammates / borders / solid structures at my back.

You obviously haven't faced some of the better Chaffee/Leopard drivers. The speed at which they get to your flank can b mind boggling.

I wouldn't know, every time I see one I either one shot it or take 90% of it's health in one shot and a teammate quickly follows with the finisher.

Still doesn't matter how fast they are if I never give them an opportunity to get behind me, the one and only point you seem to be missing. Honestly, you have to be pretty stupid to put yourself in a place where that lone Chaffee / Leopard can just go light you up and get away. If I see one on the reds at the start of the match, I immediately load an HE shell and hope to run into it.

It really does seem to be instantaneous.  I'll see it come on, without a detected and spin my turret until detected comes on.  Then I know where they are spotting me from.  I have not seen it turn off while the detected icon was also lit.  When it comes on, it doesn't always mean somebody has a shot on your tank, just some part of it is exposed.

I don't know if that is going to be fixed but there is no point in getting that perk because you already know if youve been spotted.

Fairly simple you see lightbulb he saw you. You see lightbulb and exclamation your spotted and detected (other player pressed A when he saw you).

How do you know its the second you were spotted? its a lil different if you crest a hill and spot someone who then spots you, vs someone coming from behind that you dont know about

I can tell it is near to instant unlike the lag detected has and it does stay on until you are no longer detected.  An excellent example of this was when I was in Sand River Encounter on the west side of the map. I made it all the way to the tall sand dune near the town. Each time I would pop over the top I would spot the enemy and they would see me and my light bulb was instant on but after dropping back behind the dune the light bulb went out after a few seconds almost matching how long they were spotted before disappearing again but the detected notification was seconds slower then the light bulb.

A good scout can be with 200m and you wont know it until you're hit by his buddys, in my luchs I can remain hidden pretty well until about the 150m, thats when I decide you're to close and make a run for it, but I could let you get much closer, but I dont like to get 1 shotted , there are some skilled light tankers out there who do there job so well, you dont even know there doing it

Ive only got 6th sense on my jpII, I get tunnel vision in that thing sometimes, everything else I constantly rotating my turret when not engaged and the detection has worked well for me, so I wont be adding it until later down the line

See, I thought it was that you see the "!" when they see you and they have vents + when they reverse or press " x, x, y " now, I am not so sure. ( See, now we are really confusing folx )

Worked very well for me in my Tiger I on Mali Assault last night......6th Sense kicked in before I was spotted and I was able to back away 3 times.....2 other times, I was spotted after it kicked in, And was still able to avoid getting shot, And the spotted icon and the "light bulb" both turned off at the same time.

It works for me :great:

How can I not know there's a scout spotting me when my 6th sense is going off telling me that someone's spotted me?

Obviously if I see no big guys around and my light bulb is on, it's the work of a scout.

Think before you speak lol.

6th sense is useful if you primarily play a TD. The detection system works when an enemy is in front of you and his barrel is aimed at you. You're detected.. If the enemy is to your flank or behind uo with his barrel pointed at you you will not get a detected icon. With 6th sense you will get an icon wherever the enemy is. It is beneficial like I said when you play a TD, nice to know when you have someone creepin around your back side.

Need the little light bulb back. Also was playing with a tank that had sixth sense on it and it didn't tell me I was spotted even after I had been getting shot for at least 35 seconds while trying to back away out of line of fire. The thing never went off. So it's buggy I think.

You mean how when a person sees something that isn't 100% accurate and they decide to be a complete [edited]instead of sharing correct info?  Yeah, I agree.

6th sense is supposed to alert you the instant you've been spotted from any direction, while !detected lets you know someone has been watching you for 3 seconds.  Theoretically that player is in your FOV, but in practice they would have been in your FOV anytime in the last three seconds, not necessarily in your FOV when you get the alert.

The Xbox version is different. It also stays on while you are spotted, and turns off when your not spotted.  PC version of Sixth Sense is not as useful as ours. (Unless its changed from beta)

In short, we get the pre nerf Sixth Sense, as it was changed on PC a few months ago.

So what should I Pick for my 1 Perk/Skill for my Jagdpanther II? I was thinking either 6th Sense, (Does Mentor help if your crew is 100%?) Mentor or Repair. Maybe Camoflauge but I appreciate any info.

Interesting, that's exactly how its working in my tanks.
