Had a mother tell me off and she thought being a mother gave her more leverage to verbally abuse me. Like, congrats ma'am. You did something female kind has been doing for all life, aren't you a special snow flake.

I bet he shut up after that. American's tend to shut up about anything once you mention being in a war. We're a country with social politics so drilled into place that questioning the valor of soldiers is forbidden.

Its not that im trying to go hey look at me type of thing  I was just doing my duty but it dont half pi ss me of when certain individuals in games start chopping of about people being a coward because of this and that because frist of all they don't know that person or there back ground and a game does not show your character as a human just cause you go stroming in head first in a game relly dose not mean you would do that for real in reality you probably pi ss your pants second if you play it safe in a game and step back and think what you are going to do well that's the right thing to do to get a battle picture then attack is what you relly do in real life anyway but my point is that guy who might be playing it safe and gets called a corward might be the guy who runs into a burning building and safe a family

A good one I received this morning:

"*** boy for ART your no good skill with tank. just ART. ***** boy"

(I checked this dude's profile and apparently he's from the UK, like me, yet we seem to speak a different language?)

I replied with the usual "I feast on your tears" and his response:

"WOW CHILD TALK. THEN **** OFF"

At least he complimented my skill with artillery, I generally suck with artillery, I much prefer medium/heavy game play, which he'd of known if he had checked my profile and saw I've only played 177 games with arty, so I'm by NO MEANS, skilled with arty.

Anyway, it made me laugh.

On Himmelsdorf, I was in my JPantherII in the second story window overlooking the courtyard. I put 2 shots into an enemy T-29 and killed him.

A couple minutes later I recieved a very strange message. Here it is. Direct Quote....

" Hey Blake, how ya doing with them there dinosaur posters? Better watch out they'll bite ya! *Growl* ( yes, he growled then chomped).

I still have absolutely no idea what he meant by this. Am I just daft, or is there some hidden underlying association with dinosaur posters and WOT?  Absolutely bonkers that guy....

He was probably thinking you were a little kid who liked dinosaurs. Would actually be scary if you were a little kid and had dino posters around.

Oh, as for me, some guy promised me I would be banned for killing him. Me: U KANNOT CATCH MUH SKILLZ HACKZORS BRU, GIT ON MUH LEVEL SKRUB!!!"

I love emulating coddies.

its not camping its digging in to a defensive position

As long as you move your turret side to side, it isn't camping. I prefer to call it patrolling!

Guy camping in a toaster on an open hillside on Westfield. It took me three shells to frag him, during which time he just sat there and rotated blindly (I was well hidden in my SU-85). He sent me a rambling voicemail in a thick German accent accusing me of camping and claiming that he was too busy, erm, 'nerfing' my mother, or else he would've 'crushed' me 'like Hitler'.

I don't recall ever being crushed by Hitler.

I get quite a few regarding my refusal to give up on strategy and play like an idiot (sitting out in the open fighting multiple tanks, rushing forward just to "get though a game faster", not retreating from a lost position, etc). I just respond with "<3" then if they reply I add another heart "<3<3" and keep going until they get a hint. --Momentai ;]

Got a Devastator in my King Tiger.  A T71 was doing some great scouting, and he got 2,600 spotting.  We all live to the end of the match.  He sends me hate mail for not killing one particular enemy fast enough to his satisfaction.

Thats is just funny. Some scout expect miracles I'm afraid. He should be thanking you for hitting the targets he spots.

I thought I was on a different forum here.  I actually told the whole story already in Tales of Glory: http://forum-console.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/45180-picky-scout/

I got another one like that recently.  A T21 went around the Himmselsdorf to distract a King Tiger.  I was mic'd up (usually am) and said aloud, "Ah, see you going to distract him, I'll move up."  I immediately moved my Löwe to about 20 meters away and began firing as fast as my gun rammer-equipped tank would fire.  The King Tiger completely ignored me, and focused on the T21, killing him about 1.5 seconds before I killed the King Tiger.

The following conversation ensues:

T21: "Hey you, low-eh!  (Since nobody knows how to pronounce "Löwe")  You need to learn that when you spotter distracts someone, you move up!"

Me: "What??  I did move up!"

T21: "No you didn't, you sat back, and you should have moved up and fired at him, tried to take out his ammo rack."

Me: "I did move up!  I did fire at him!  Every single shot penned!  What else do you want from me?"

I came in last place in my easy 8. It was a terrible game. I think I even got 0 damage.

Anyway I got this message from my own teammate, the top damage earner:

;D

Killed a Grille when I was still playing the Marder 38T. Immediately got a message from said Grille, calling me an ***hole and a p****, and that next time I need to fight him like a man. I don't understand to this day what that was supposed to mean....

Well, tell me who other than the british, (And the british Isles, Sorry scotland.) and American southerners regularly uses yankee or the like. I mean, it is an assumption, and it is also a generalization, but, I've never heard anyone other than those two groups regularly use yankee as an insult towards americans, (Or Northerners.)
