I would "prefer" the 1 up/down but I think it would wreak havoc on our matchmaking.

(Edited to take out brain fart)

Churchill III is a tier 5 premium Churchill VII is the tier 6

Also both churhills can easily destroy a stock tiger or one using the short 8.8

The fully upgraded tiger would be tough but that's why you don't front line if bottom tier

Sorry, brain fart. Though I've never used the churchill 3 and it is a premium, can you name some other examples? And the higher tier you go the greater the disparity becomes, though my real problem is with tier 3 seeing tier 5 and tier 4 seeing tier 6

See: support role, seriously, support the big guys, stay out of sight, distract and harass the enemy big guys, etc. etc. Also Churchills anc KV1s grin gleefully in tier 7 games

This would be fine if it weren't for the basic fact that the majority of people in this game will shoot the lowest tier they see first regardless of threat. The kv1s is a tier 6.

Tier 3 TDs and some of the tier 3 light tanks have decent guns to deal with tier 5 and tier 4 TDs have no issues penning tier 6 heavies

What are your thoughts on having specific tanks, ie the TD's that can deal with +/-2 getting it, and other tanks getting preferential matchmaking?

He is talking about KV-1s not KV-1Ss the small s is marking them as plural

KV1s, as in plural for KV1, tier 5 heavy (and it would be KV-1S if I was talking about 122mm death star of tier 6), also did you not read stay out of sight?

The Kv-1 can't reliably pen most t7 until the final gun, and even then it only has 590hp making it an extremely easy target to 1/2hit

I think it should be what it currently is

(0+2) battle tier with higher tiers for scout mm and certain tanks limited (which there are many premium tanks covered plus tier 1 and 2s)

The second you fire you're in sight and boom, t7's lighting up with glee as they see the t5 they can 2-hit

Anc it's no different than a E5 being 2 shotted by Jägeroos at tier 10.

Some tanks can obviously be exceptions, but what of the numerous tanks that simply cannot pen 2t higher? Some tanks have trouble even tracking higher tier tanks

Lol funny you actually can stay well hidden and out of sight if you stay about 200 m back from the main force before you engage let the battle start to happen then volley your shotsin . That forces the enemy to have to either deal with the higher tiers in front of them or leave themselves unprotected to shoot at you.
