as a side note all tier 1s cost zero to rearm and repair though silver generated wont be much but what is made is straight in your pocket.

Great post. currently grinding about 3-5 of the 8 tanks in my garage and ive noticed that my silver depletes much faster than when i grind 1-2 at a time (its actually restricted me from equipping equipment on some tanks im actively playing). After reading this I think i'll go back to playing 2 tanks the majority of the time.

Thanks Frogman!  :great:  Very nice post and hope it got pinned on the newcomers forum.  Wouldn't be a bad idea to pin it on this forum either.  Anyways, let's try to bump it up from time to time.

Shadow puppets are illogical, inflexible, and totalitarian.   Most people don't know this because the shadow puppets live in the shadows meddling in others lives usually without reason.   Even worse, they are hypocrites who allow no dissension to their tactics.

I would add something to your Consumables area:

Block Quote

A premium Fire Extinguisher decreases the chance of fire in the first place as well as speeds fire fighting when a fire does occur.

While that is true, technically it does the following:

A) Decreases overall Fire Chance

and

B) Will automatically Activate & Use when the tank does set on fire

Part B is the real problem here if the goal of the guide is to Earn Silver - since it auto-activates it costs you 20k  Silver every time, even if you don't want to use it(as often happens with me, I get hit down to 5% or so AND set on fire, and no way I want to extinguish it in that case since I'm gonna die anyway)

So its important to note that distinction, as it will murder your Silver income if over-used.

Bingo...great post Joe. This should be required reading.

No playing until you read this and watch the training videos!

"On the FLIP SIDE, it's very important that you do NOT SELL any tanks that are part of the special events!   When a Tank is offered for purchase for a discounted price, then the sell price is reduced by the exact same amount!  "

I learned this the hard way ... I sold my M103 (to buy T110E5) when it was discounted ... got much less silver even though I had purchased it at full price.

I have the Lowe just to make silver. I went from 1 million to 6 million silver in 2 days so I could purchase the E-100. Sucked playing it that long because I kept having to play against tier 9 and 10 tanks. Its fairly easy to hit 100,000 silver in a match with this tank.

meh.. I am glad it works for you... I just can't bring myself to buy a fake heavy tank and screw up MM no matter how well it performs.   If I wanted a tier VIII German TD, I would buy the JagdTiger 8.8 and suffer through slow tank.

Great post +1.  I have $31,000,000 in silver reserves, so please forgive me for not reading the entire post.  However, I appreciate your contribution to the knowledge base.

You do realize that you don't earn interest, right? How do you have so much?

Another tip around turning your auto-resupply off:

Turn your auto resupply off for ammo a few games before you get a new gun upgrade, since your ammo usually won't carry over.  Most low tier tanks have huge ammo supplies and earn gun upgrades very quickly.  You can play through tiers 1-3 on many lines without ever refilling your ammunition.

You need to Push Y to change from Gold to Silver

you can do the same with Consumables, like Large Kits, but you have to select them as Gold first, and then at the "Ammo Screen" Push Y to change

Highlight the ammo you wish to purchase, change the number up/down, and then click the "Y" button(it even says it on the list at the bottom of the screen).   For the OTHER consumables such as Case of Cola, etc, you have to select and have it showing on the main Consumables screen and THEN press Y to change the currency.
