I think I'm obsessing over this now but I noticed that barely any threads have been made in the art section.

So, I'm making this one just to spike a little bit of interest.

If you have any papercraft tanks, please feel free to post a picture of it here.

(I'll post a picture of my Tiger tommorow)

Also, have any of you ever tried to make a papercraft tank... without the template, by just printing an image of the top, sides and front and just getting your measurements from there?

That's what I do, because my printer can't do colour. :)

Is it funny how I also made a papercrafted Tiger a long time ago? :teethhappy:
By the way, the way I made it is just by rolling up paper and then layering paper over it to make it smooth. All I did was plan out the measurements while having a picture of it on my computer. I'd put a picture up except I don't have a phone with internet or that can send pictures

I used stronger paper from a shop in town, got a big sheet of the stuff for only 50c.

Nice! Are these the only 2? If there's more I'd like to see them.

Hi K1LLER, great to see your still around. Those two models look great chap.

Hi bulletmaster22, I got interested in this after the Tank Drop Comp last year. I made the Hetzer and thought there must be more out there, I did some searching on the web and found PR Paper Models. They do have quite a few small scale models you can download and print for free. A great site to check out is papermodelers.com, lots of info and helpful advice on there. The 4 links KMaus WGA has posted are from World of Paper Tanks which is on the WG R/U sever, they have some fantastic models on there but definitely not for beginners. I'm actually 2/thirds of the way through building a 1/35 scale Tiger from paper replika.com, it's modelled on Tiger 101 the Bovington Tiger.

Cool, I'll download one of the easier ones later on and make it over the space of a week. I suppose most people don't do things like this because it's quite time consuming.
