In Live Oaks, it was a tier 7-8 match. Both teams had 1 tier 9. I headed north to use the buildings to confuse the enemy. Killed some opposing red team. Later on we steamrolled bunch of heavies in the city, then I spotted a T54E1 and a tiger, sniping anything that dares drive onto the straight pavement. We took chances and make pot-shots at them.I soon I took cover, the T-29 came out of the cover we both shared. Suddenly, he got tracked, but he repaired it. A bounce on his turret. Then expectedly, the T54E1 tracked him again before he could even move. I reacted fast, and moved my Panther II infront of him, facing the direction of the T54E1.
Lower glacis hit, engine damage. No biggy, I had a small repair kit. The T-29 knew what I was trying to do, and said "Affirmative!". I said the same thing back. Then an additional ally came to help depose of the T54E1. Then, we steamrolled Mother Russian style to victory, dropping the hammer on anything and everything that dared to fire upon us.
Honestly, helping tracked teammates from certain death feels good.
Also, don't you think there should be a medal for taking fire for track tanks?
