Good day Tankers!

Update 1.5 brought us new maps, and some map changes.  We want to know your thoughts!

This is the place to tell us what you think about the following:

New Map: Redshire

New Map: Siegfried Line

Looking forward to reading your comments! :honoring:

worried i am only going to get prok, and malli until the other maps are added back. don't mind sand river being gone, but it was better than prokohrovka, and malli assaults

Twenty games down, hasn't seen both once.. Even in ST, I get to see more of it.. :(

very disappointed to have cliff and Mali and ensk dominating the map cycling..

That one bounced... WTF..not at 100m and not twice in a roll and not on the side of a Walfe-100 with a BL-10!!!

Which maps are out of the game and being re-worked? I understand Sand River. Which other ones?

I hate being bi-polar. It's awesome!

Only played Siegfried line once but it looks like a good map, large open areas for big battles and a tight village for brawling, also the tank traps make it feel more like an actual battlefield*

Redshire seems ok, only lasted 1 minute on it lol

*Something it would be nice to see more of, eg destroyed tanks and evidence of past battles.

New Map: Siegfried Line

Those stones preventing tanks from going across the map are extremely annoying.  Any map with those type of barricades are annoying. Since we are in tanks and they are small stones it would make sense that we could just drive over these and go where we want to but noooo. I understand wanting to put in choke points but I suggest putting in bigger obstacles. There's nothing worse than getting stuck in a place you never suspected you could get stuck in.

Just played for three hours after work. Didn't see a new map until Siegfried Line the very last map I played- again after 3 hours. Very disappointed, but not surprising. However, got a steady diet of Prok and Mali....yay.

Played Redshire twice within a 3 hour span. Not a bad map just wish I had more chances to get used to it. Never saw Siegfried once.

Played Siegfried and Redshire and they are great additions. I personally prefer large rural/urban mixed maps above the Ensks and Himmeldorfs... Both maps are also good for flankers and scouts. But I had to play about 10 games before I saw any of the new maps... :( Isn't it possible to give the new maps a higher status in the map rotation, so they turn up a bit faster (after an update?).

Thanks ever so much for moving the defenders spawn on Malinovka Assault...it is great having people engaged in the battle instead of camping on the hill...again Kudos on this one...

Those are not stones...they are "tank traps" purposely designed by the military to stop tanks...

I will say this. I was pleased to see that you added the updated version of campshire in to the game and not the old version. Based on your previous track reocrd Iwas expecting the old and much worse version of it. So that's great news and I hope this trend of adding updated maps continues.

What I'm waiting for now is updated El Halluf. Updated maliknovka, prokhorvka, and komarin would be nice as well.

Siegrfried line is a good map, always liked it from the PC. My team has been anihilated both times I've played it now but that's not the maps fault.

This.... as has been said before those "small stones" are tank traps designed specifically to stop tanks, theyre bigger than you think

new maps? wouldn't even notice maps were added unless posted since i never get to play them. even with the removal of maps, rotation still needs improvement. i've seen the new maps 3 times. 1 siegfried, 2 redshire. the map rotation continues to be my biggest complaint with the game other then that i'm a happy tanker.

Is Siegfried Line on the xbox smaller than the PC version?  It feels much smaller.

I can see Redshire being BRUTAL for slow tanks, since it has only one LAND crossing, everything else is water and little rivers...

Why so many "Bridge Maps" WG? Bridges are natural choke points, and forcing encounters at a single Point on the map is probably not a good call...

Only one thing, I wish you only got rid of 2 maps so we could still have the same total number of maps. Like remove 2 and add 2 maps instead of take away 4 and add 2
The catch 22 of WoT: 1. Rages at team for being terrible. 2. Goes on forums complaining about terrible team mates. 3. Another thread comes talking about making the player base less terrible. 4. People agree n such. 5. Idea comes to better the average how's skill. 5. People dislike the idea/ call it terrible. 6. Plays game and complains about terrible team mates.
