Actually it's not both. The memory limit necessitated it.

 

The changing of the maps is just something they are doing. They could have changed the maps without removing them and then swapped them out in a patch.

Sorry Raider777 - just accidentally -1 'd you - I agree wholeheartedly with you - could have left the maps in and implemented changes in a patch.

lol...Mali Assault has run the full gamut since it has been in the game...It started out as a barely playable camp fest...migrated to an unplayable camp fest...and is now a frustratingly unplayable camp fest...I know I don't speak for everybody but it seems to get worse and not better...I think you need to pull this mode and map combination entirely since it is (in my mind) synonymous with "negative entertainment value".

 

If WG wants to insist on "fixing" Mali Assault place the assault objective in the opposite corner from the current defenders spawn and have the attackers spawn on the hill.  At least that way the defenders and attackers will have some cover or avenues of approach they can exploit.

Not sure if this is the correct place or not, but ever since the latest update I do not join the match until 10-30 seconds have already passed. Before the update I would be up and ready to roll at least 5-10 seconds prior to the start of the match.

 

The gear just keeps turning, I can hear people talking in chat, but still nothing. It is very frustrating. And, no, there is nothing wrong with my internet. Nothing has changed on my end. Just since the last update this has started. Is anyone else having this issue?

 I gave it some time to play and see before I complained.

You gave us 2 maps and took away 4.

1 of the 4 was Arctic region that you just pumped us all up about it in the last release, and then take it away. It was still new to most of us and we weren't bored with it yet.

 

New Maps

The first weekend I played the new maps twice each in about 12 Hours of play time

The rotation was terrible.

It seems a little better now except last night 10/3/14 When I played Malinovka 6 times out of 12 games and never saw either of the 2 new maps.

 

Speaking of Malinovka.

Malinovka is the map most of us dislike and would like to see removed from Rotation

The new spawn for assault is basically a death Sentence for Artillery units.

 

Give back the other 4 maps you took Westfield, Widepark, Sandriver, and Arctic Region.

Remove Malinovka.
