Can we not ask WG for compensation this time?

Xbox live is down again thanks to lizard squad. But I do not think it is fare that people ask them for days of premium as compensation. It is out of their control and I do not believe that people need to take advantage of it and ask them for this.

Just think about the amount of money WG loose out on in this amount of time.

 

Just a thought.

Yes, that is reasonable and all, but when was the last time the internet was a bastion of reason and logic.

 

Now we will have to endure days of the same threads cursing WG and demanding free things when it is out of WG's control.

I agree WG is not xbox so we cannot hold them accountable for Microsoft issues. if anything people should ask Microsoft if they will compensate for time lost. however I will not be asking for anything free

I am glad you guys agree, but I am already seeing posts about this. Not only do WG loose money on people not able to purchase anything but they also have to compensate which costs them even more money.

I hear you but it's not really the fault of WarGaming. 

 

Im surprised xBox Live wasn't prepared for this and perhaps compensation would be more reasonably requested from them. 

 

That said, it's a deliberate act to sabotage their business and they can't really be held to blame either. 

 

Lets hope the Lizard Squad people are found and that they have deep pockets to compensate every one.

I dont expect a free 24 hours now, i just hope i get my 2 or 3 hours im losing because of this. Its not their fault but for the people who paid for something that they arent getting deserve to be compensated. That being said, my next 24 hours was from the op so I don't expect to be compensated but it would be cool

the people who are going to demand compensation from WG are just plain greedy in my book

I think it was very decent of WG to offer anything considering they weren't at fault. I don't require or want anything from them other than keep doing what they're doing.

last time this happend, we lost 4-5 hours of premium. They gave us all a day, if we already had premium, I think that covers it. Dont you?

that was incredibly generous of them. they did not have to do it but they are in touch with their player base and are trying to do their best. kudos to them

Just give out a free day of premium to everyone, like the time before the last one.  I happened to be in the middle of my free day that I had just earned.  Very disappointing.  

 

WG won't lose money on this.  It's not like WG is giving us an actual, manufactured physical product with sunk costs that they would lose money on.  For a few hours of labor they could make their customer base very happy, which would undoubtedly lead to more purchases later on.

I both agree and disagree. This might spring more people to spend money on premium but they do loose money because in the time that the servers are offline, they can not earn ANY money.
