Tankers!

Superbowl is just around the corner, and we have a challenge for you!
Build your fantasy football team - using Tanks from World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition!
Who's your quarterback? What kind of tank do you think would make a good linebacker?

Our top 10 favorites will receive 500 gold

How to join the contest:

  • Create your own tank-themed football lineup, and post it to this thread
  • Must show a tank from World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition, for each football position.
  • You can choose offense OR defense.
  • Include your Gamertag in your submission
  • This may be whatever format you like (list, image, diorama) - but you must include the names of each tank somewhere.

Rules:

  • All players are welcome to join the contest but each player can submit only one entry.
  • The creation must be designed exclusively for this contest.
  • Entries will be judged on creativity, quality, etc.
  • If you submit an image, the image requirements are as follows: format —JPEG, PNG, or GIF; resolution — between 800x600 and 1024x768 pixels; size — up to 700 KB.
  • The submission must comply with the moral, ethical, and legal standards, as well as with the Forum rules.
  • Wargaming gains exclusive rights to the contest image when you post it on the forum, as outlined in the “10. User Generated Content” section of the Terms of Service

The submission deadline is Sunday, February 1st at 06:00pm PST (January 30 13:00 UTC).

I don't have the slightest idea about American football, can we do English football (soccer) as well?

Un tanque... grrrande!

I would list the tanks in my garage, but my massively growing Tank Division won't allow it.

Great contest!  g/t is the same as my user name:

QB:  M53/55- super accurate cannon capable of lobbing footballs down field

RB1: E50- fast, but can also take and deliver a blow to the opposing team.

RB2: P38 NA- change of pace back that can get free of coverage for a screen pass or can out run defenders with moves

WR1: AMX50-120 -  I like tall WRs because they can catch over defenders.  this tank is about as tall as they come.  It is also super fast, which is desirable in a deep threat

WR2:  T20 - WR2s need to compliment the WR1 well. They need agility, speed, flexibility, and these are all qualities of the T20.

TE:  T62a - the ultimate flexible tank goes to the ultimate flexible position on the gridiron.  Need a pass blocker? Run blocker? Pass catcher?  T62a can do them all-  flank, support, engage h2h

T: Tiger 2 - tackles need to be bulky, yet nimble enough to hold off opposing defenses.  The Tiger 2 fits both of these criteria

G: GWE100-  big fat tank to protect the QB

C: E100 - no doubt you want the biggest, meanest tank to push the opposing DL away from the backs while protecting the QB.

G: Maus-  right next to the E100 to shore up the pass D

T: Tiger 2 - see above

I might as well try.

QB - Jagdpanther

RB1 - Centurion 7/1

RB2 - Leopard PTA

WR1 - M18 Hellcat

WR2 - PZ II Luchs

TE - Jagdpanther II

T1 - Jagdpanzer E-100

T2 - TOG II

G1 and G2 - a pair of KV-5s

C - Maus

GT - Noob Saibot 007

DE's: ST-I and T-57. Both decently quick on the outside with plenty of muscle.

DT's: Maus and S-51. S-51 is my deep penetration DT, while the Maus is my run stopper.

OL's: Bat Chat and M48 Patton. Both top tier performers with speed. Definitely putting the Bat-Chat as my weak side linebacker though.

MLB: Pz. 5/4. I can not think of a better tank to anchor my defense. Its the Rampanzer for a reason.

CB's: Luchs and Chaffee. Plenty of speed here, though lacking the ability to hit hard.

S's: Hellcat and E25. Can manuever around and cover any weaknesses on the team, and both will deliver quick hits to change the flow of the game when needed.

We operate the standard 4-3 defense, but the Bat-Chat is flexible enough to be the Nickel corner if the offense comes at us with 3 wide.

Team U.S.A

-Offense

> QB: "Priest" - He can throw it far and loves a Hail Mary.

> WR1: "Chaffee" - Has the speed and maneuverability to turn on a dime and make that winning play.

> WR2: "Stuart" - While everyone is focused on Chaffee, underestimated Stuart converts those crucial first downs.

> TE/Flex: "Pershing" - The jack of all trades keeps those line backers guessing what Team USA is gonna do next.

> RB: "Sherman" - When it comes to getting the job done and we need those critical yards, Sherman consistently pulls through.

> FB: "Jumbo" - Jumbo has been blocking for Priest and his little bro Sherman since mighty mights! On the goal line? Give the ball to Jumbo to punch it in!

> Center, Left and Right Guards: "The T110 Brothers" - Known on the field only as E3, E4, and E5, these three brothers hold the line no matter what.

> Left and Right Tackle: "T29 and T32" - Strongest at holding the flanks, T29 and T32 defend their QB all 4 quarters.

- Defense

> Middle Linebacker: "Patton" - What other hard nose leader would you trust to rally the defense and hold back the horde!?

> Outside Linebackers: "SuperP and Freedom" - These cousins of Pershing don't have the taste for offense, rather prefer to take more aggressive roles on the field.

> Defensive Ends: "T54E1 and T57" - These autoloaders love to UN-load on helpless QBs with their quick ability to get around the offensive tackles.

> Strong Safety: "Fury" - Known only by his nickname, this fierce combatant never shy's away from an opportunity to blitz.

> Free Safety: "Jackson" - Incredibly accurate and excellent vision makes Jackson the perfect leader of the secondary.

> Left and Right Corners: "Wolverine and Hellcat" - OpFor receivers wanna play rough? These spitfires will play right back. Able to keep up with the best and pack a punch when needed.

there is a similar number of players. I will allow european football as well, if you'd like to participate. sure :)
i have enough soccer background / knowledge that i feel like i can take that into account when we judge.
