WG, what would you do if one of our cards sent to you go lost in the mail? Not that mine is (I haven't sent it yet), I'm just throwing the question out there for those of us whom have worked hard at creating and sending a choice piece of art for your B-Day party.

This^ Also, what about delays? Perhaps an Australian sends in an entry in mid-February but delays caused the entry to not be sent to Wargaming HQ until after the contest deadline.

As far as I'm aware, WGA can't ship physical prizes outside of the US/Canada (reason why in this thread) so it's kinda pointless entering to win a prize that can't be shipped to you.

Now, I don't know if that rule is still in place or if it has changed at all. I've never read anything stating that the no worldwide shipping rule had changed.

I write things, things which can be found in Historical Discussions. Things like this article on the Soviet invasion of Manchuria in 1945 and this article on the Spanish Civil War.

Here's a silly question. Do you need to receive it in the mail by February 27th for a physical card to be eligible? I was wondering because I'm in another country and Canada Post is.. eh>

Spoiler

It is only silly cause the answer was in the OP :P

  • Entries must be postmarked by February 27, 2015 or earlier to be eligible

Just need to have it marked by your post office by that date. Though I would add the caution that others have about WG not being able to send physical prizes outside the US.

Could've used a 2D software though. there needs to be a restriction on programs, that way everybody has a fair chance.

You can't see it, he actually uses 4D, it is just a really slowly animated gif. Lasts about 45 mins, you just have to sit and watch it...

It really doesn't matter if you're using a high end program or MS Paint as long as you're able to be creative!  I'm loving the creative entries I've seen so far!  :great:
