How about the German KV-1 and  KV-2

I would love it if WG added these bad boys along with the "German Sherman!" ;)

Ok, it’s not really a big deal.  But it is interesting and that is why I have it.  It is the BUTEPANZER M4A2 75.  An American M4 Sherman with German markings.  How can this be you might ask.  Well, first let me just say that the M4 Sherman was provided to many of our allies, there is even a Russian variant fitted with the same 7.62 cm gun found on the T-34.  France was also provided with the M4 Sherman.
The Wehrmacht captured its first Shermans in Tunisia and shipped them back to Germany for the Army Weapons Office to examine.
The greatest numbers of Sherman tanks, though, fell into German hands in France after the 1944 invasion. Many units were able to set up a captured tank unit and equip it with Shermans. The use of this tank is documented for the 21st Panzer Division (four tanks), 25th Panzer Grenadier Division (four), the 10th SS Panzer Division "Frundsberg" (ten), Panzer Brigade 150 (ten), and the 5th Parachute Jager Division (six). There were individual tanks in many other units.
In August of 1944, the Captured Tank Company 281 established a platoon of five Sherman tanks (with 7.5 cm guns) that had been captured in Russia.
Among the German troops, the Sherman tank with the 7.5 cm gun was known as the "Sherman short" and the type with the 7.6 cm gun as the "Sherman long."
On March 31, 1945, the Panzer Company "Berka" was set up, using the tanks of the Berka Test Center. It had three Jagdpanzer 38 tanks (one of them with a recoilless gun), one Panzer IV, two Panzer III, two Sherman short and one Sherman long. When the unit was established, each of the Sherman tanks carried 50 rounds of ammunition.

:B

Sweet…we need a Tier 6 premium sherman with the 88 Lange…. who needs a firefly??

These are the only two known pics of the German Sherman the op was referring to:-

If anyone is interested in the German use of such beutepanzers, take a look at this site:- http://www.beutepanz...panzer/main.htm

It has the story behind the T-34/88 we have in game, and hundreds of pics of all kinds of tanks and AFV's pressed into German service.

One thing the op said is false though, there wasn't a Sherman armed with the Soviet 76.2mm gun.

The Soviets retrofitted the Sherman with their 76mm creating the M4M but stopped after the US guaranteed supplies of spares and ammunition

Hmmm, from what i read it was a proposal in case of short supply, not actually done. I wonder if it did do any pics survive.
