Tankers!

So the other day, I was out for a walk and I noticed something interesting. A lot of people like to dress up their pets in various outfits and costumes. One of the dogs I saw on my walk was huge. Instantly, I thought that dog would be perfect in a tank costume.

Your task for this creative contest is to create a tank costume for your pet.

Here is an example:

How to join the contest:

  • Find your pet. It doesn’t have to be a dog. It might be easier though. Cats don’t always take to costumes.
  • Costumes can be any material as long as it is safe for your pet.
  • Due to popular demand, stuffed animals are allowed.
  • Be sure to include your gamertag in the image and it must be hand written.
  • Take 2 photos and upload it to this thread. Photos must be unaltered.

Rules:

  • All players are welcome to join the contest but each player can submit only one entry.
  • The creation must be designed exclusively for this contest. No Google, Bing, etc finds. You will be disqualified.
  • Entries will be judged on creativity, quality, etc.
  • The image requirements are as follows: format —JPEG, PNG, or GIF; resolution — between 800x600 and 1024x768 pixels; size — up to 700 KB.
  • The image must comply with the moral, ethical, and legal standards, as well as with the Forum rules.
  • Wargaming gains exclusive rights to the contest image when you post it on the forum, as outlined in the “10. User Generated Content” section of the Terms of Service

Prizes:

  • 1st place 6,000 Gold + 2 weeks of premium time
  • 2nd  place: 5,000 Gold + 1 week of Premium Time
  • 3rd  place: 4,000 Gold + 1 week of Premium Time
  • 4th place: 2,500 Gold + 1 week of Premium Time
  • 5th  place: 1,000 Gold + 1 week of Premium Time

The submission deadline is Friday, April 3rd at 09:00 PM PST (April 3 16:00 UTC)

No. These must be handmade and have your handwritten gamertag in the photo. No Google finds.

...and if somebody does get caught cheating, what are the consequences?

Edit: I don't mean to contribute to negativity. We've seen this issue come up, so that's why I ask. This looks like a fun contest, and I hope to find time to participate.

If someone does get caught cheating, immediate disqualification. No questions asked.

I'm going to assume we should raise any concerns of cheating privately through direct message?

It's a shame it's gotten to the point where we assume someone will cheat. I've got no doubt that it will probably happen though.

Every entry will be judged fairly. If you do have a concern, please message me directly. Don't call it out in the forums.

This is so cute. I love the WOT community... We have as many trolls as the other games, but many more happy, dedicated, and creative people, too.

I'm not very creative but my cat is very photogenic...

Great idea guys, way to continue to keep it lighthearted. This game can get very serious sometimes, and these little contests offer a nice relaxing break from that seriousness.

I commend the WG team for keeping things light. Hats off to you, please continue to offer us these contest-breaks!

These costumes are not in anyway supposed to resemble a real tank too much are they. The subject I may end up using is a tad difficult to work with

Equality is a myth.

In order to ensure rights for one, you must destroy rights of another.

u should ask for more than 1 image, people these days do their "handwritten" gamertags in photoshop and then they just paste that crap on stolen image, there was 2 in pie contest for example.

As close as you can get. I totally understand difficult subjects.

I revised it. I was going to do that originally but it's rare to get an animal to sit for more than one photo. I would prefer 2 photos overall. I would understand if they couldn't.
