The B barrel gives it a little poke to see if its still alive. Once you get the 105 it becomes a whole new beast. With the 20pdrs just follow a heavy or td and add your firepower and RoF to theirs to supplement their usually slower RoF

That's what I've started doing.

Hanging back a bit though just acting as a support gun.

The B barrel seems better but I'm still pissing silver away with this POS.

Edit: I also feel more comfortable with the Centennial. It's a very similar tank but I feel as if I do better in it. Yes, it's a tier lower, but I also disliked the cent 1. Odd.

If Voltaire played WOT...

"Each player must accept the tanks MM deals him or her: but once they are in play, he or she alone must decide how to play the tanks in order to win the game."

WOT OFF. 7 days a week, 1800 to 2000 GMT, Tier III to X on the Europe Server.

Finally two marked this vehicle... so tough for me but I think made possible by the return to previous calculations in 4.1?! Anyways I'm done now. :)

Nice!  I just got my first mark on it this weekend.  I tried for three marks on a tank once.  No more of that.  RNG and match making made me a horrible person.  Also, some who have the three marks set the bar on prem spamming.  Makes it hard for those of us who don’t like to do that.  Congratulations on the two marks!

The 7/1 has been unlocked.

I've saved up the silver.

I'm debating between two 8 skill crews to move.

Not looking forward to the grind to the 105, but getting excited about moving on to this tank.

The grind, for me, wasn't too bad. If you made it with the Centurion I, you should do well with the 7/1. They both play similar. Once you unlock the Mk. 9 package, it gets quicker, feels smoother, and that gun is a beast.

I played this line when it first came out back when it had tbe historically accurate 252 mm turret armour and 40kph speed ... loved it ... then it got nerfed to its current form 152 which is annoying, and they buffed the speed so it plays like every other medium now ... no diversity, at least i can still say its my all time favourite tank in real life, in game it isn't for those reasons, i miss my historically accurate centurion

I'm a part time player, no premium time, and I've taken the last 7 months off.   I just recently started playing in the last week or so, and I finally purchased the 7/1.  I have not driven it yet, but I wanted to get thoughts around free XP'ing through at least the first stage?  Worth it?

The first gun used to hold it back because of the soft turret. With the improved turret it might be viable.

I finally bought....used most of my free XP to get to the faster engine and 2nd gun (but not the top gun).  That might have been a mistake.  Should have taken the slower engine with the big gun.   Any high tier heavy that is hull down just laughs....  DPM is useless if you can't pen.

Hi, I really enjoy the second gun. It can’t cut it at tier X by any means but can shred viii & ix, I have the reload down to 4.5 sec. aim time is crazy and accuracy is good. Really love this tank. The tier X gun is only really good for pen heavy armoured tanks but I prefer the DPM of the ix gun. Only issue I am finding recently is that the low alpha means that tier ix autoloaders feel compelled to yolo me. Shm.. other than that great times.

With all of the recent ops, I blew through this tank way quicker than normal and unlocked the Cent AX.  More enjoyable.

Same tank...except it is a lot faster, and the 105 is a tad different as it has a much faster ROF.

The 7/1 with the IX canon = Comet

The CAX = T20 with 90mm
