I tend to mainly do Tamiya models with a slight dip into Revell for aircraft. Never really liked Airfix as i got into model building. Not much else that I can readily get from the store in town. Have to travel to Edinburgh or Glasgow if I want something more exotic.
I think almost most of my planes are Airfix, although a fair few are Revell, or just pre-built things.
Airfix were the first models I used and easiest to get, but now that I've used other ones, quite easy to tell they are quite bleugh.

Usually I only give a wash to accent the recessed panel lines but decided to try something different. Probably going to get another PZ II to do a winter whitewash of some type
The panzer 2 in the photo is also my first airbrush attempt.
Similarly mine go onto a shelf to collect dust as well only to be moved to make space for more.
I think just about every single one of my models was just painted with paint brush, and whatever paint lying around.
Never had the equipment or knew how to do anything more precise, and if their Airfix it's of course rather troublesome to try anything.
Running out of space on my shelf actually, the shelf that has most of the planes on has actually ran out of space, so no planes for a while.
