With the inclusion of training rooms, do you think we should get some mentoring going on? If enough people are interested I could set up a registration site or a thread here.

I teach my platoon mates while in battle, only 1 time have I used the training rooms to teach them "How to Bush" and also how to passive scout from some sweet locations on a few maps, they tell me it's helped them greatly :) they even tell me battle stories, how they used the bush trick to carry the crap team, and just today my friend was passive scouting and had 5K spotting damage and top of the board ;)

It's so cute when they're young... hopefully they get to turn out to be good players. Us, the old breed had to learn the hard way.

A few people trying to help others can suck, to many cooks in the kitchen thing.

I'm just concerned that people might pass on bad habits. I've seen how much XGN members have sucked when they've been "trained" by their clan. :sceptic:

The best part is when people try to teach you while they're dead and you're trying to focus. The funny part is when all they speak is common sense that you are already aware of and, THERE'S ONE TO YOUR RIGHT. XD

While this is a good idea and I applaud you for wanting to show people how to improve their game, for me it still comes down to each individual player WANTING to become better. There is plenty of information out there for players to dig into, they just choose not to. Some people are very passionate about this game and want to absorb as much information as possible, while others just want to play and have fun with it. However, +1 to you for wanting to be active in improving another's gameplay!

When Wot comes to X1 then I will begin Mentoring players wanting to learn a few things no matter your skill level. I'll show them how to "bush" Armor angling, spotting, reading the map, advanced tactics and teamwork in live fire platoon battles ;)
