Yes -in your world this may be true because WG says so.But in fact it doesnt always work as intended.

Im pretty sure your turret has to be facing them to actually detect them.

I guess you are right in a way. I didn't word my statement right besides the bad grammar. I said detected instead I should have said spotted. If you have sixth sense you will see that if a tank lumbers with in that white circle you be automatically spotted. Its a very simple game mechanic. Also just because it doesn't say detected doesn't mean you are not spotted. I think but I'm not positive that you are only detected when you are spotted and there is an enemy tank pointing his gun barrel at you within a certain  range. Could someone please confirm or correct me if I'm wrong.  I apologize if I am spouting incorrect information

Making up story's does not support this at all. I have game mechanics to back up my claims. Your little story is false or grossly over exaggerated. Tanks do not remain hidden when there are tanks with huge view ranges. A bush only gives you minimal concealment and once you fire, you lose a lot of your camo and the bush is the only factor which at 300m or less with a tank that has 400+m you are spotted. end of. Borsig gets spotted at under 200m hiding behind a bush and not firing, especially when the tanks moving in have a great view range

You have nothing to back up your claims other than WGs word that this is how it works.While computers dont make mistakes human programmers do and thats the bottom line cause LOWxONxHealth SAID SO.lol.. had to get that Stone Cold promo in there ..sorry folks.

I agree that the spotting system probably hasn't worked at one point and will occasionally not work in the future. Also,  earth is the world (or planet if that's what you mean. I'm assuming that's what you mean) that I live in.

The map I did this on was Highway.I was the last one left vs 7 tanks.They searched for me for 5 minutes and at least 3 tanks got well within the 50m circle.I was by the creek in a large shrub.The only reason I was spotted was because it was too nervewracking to just sit there.I fired my gun because I wanted it to be over.

We finished the heavies off together. Arty helped out. That was it for help on the west side.

Pain Tolerance could at least helped are tank modules too.

Kinda like eagle eye we been asking. To actually see the weakened part high lighted.

Gatz wasn't happy about a new perk like that if it was on all the time, and don't blame him either.

But alot of perks that are very valuable and some not so much.

 

All's I'm saying. I got 18 perks on Geroge S. Wagner E50m. Just finally working on firefighter.

But I know which 19th and 20th perks will be on meow.

 

At least we got new perks..

Judging by my stats, I know exactly what I am talking about. So you can spout on and on about your fairy tales and continue your cheap jabs to try and get a reaction all you want. At the end of the day, I know what I'm talking about. WG has explained how spotting works, players have contributed to the wiki on just how spotting works. And again, evidence is in my stats, I know just how to take advantage of the camo+view range in my TDs. I know when you do and don't get spotted, and when it is safe to fire and when it's not.

Arty are going to be/ probably already is obsolete now. Considering most tanks can now go unspotted until 200-300 meters from the enemy arty will have less time to get shots down range, why be arty when you can sit in a bush and unload on everyone that tries to advance without any consequence?
