Again, impossible. 400+m view range alone on the WT E100 would spot a T71 way before 50m.  My borsig spots Light tanks hiding behind bushes at 300+ meters without binoculars even activated.

Making up story's does not support this at all. I have game mechanics to back up my claims. Your little story is false or grossly over exaggerated. Tanks do not remain hidden when there are tanks with huge view ranges. A bush only gives you minimal concealment and once you fire, you lose a lot of your camo and the bush is the only factor which at 300m or less with a tank that has 400+m you are spotted. end of. Borsig gets spotted at under 200m hiding behind a bush and not firing, especially when the tanks moving in have a great view range.

If you max your cameo ratting out no matter what the other tanks sight range is you have to be proxy detected to be seen. That's why all the cameo perks are making it so hard to scout.

Never underestimate your teams ability to lose.

The new perks, even if you were to stack all camo related perks, only make a small difference. No invisible deathstar or borsig firing at 100-200m and not being spotted.

reported for lies! i had a Borsig shooting at me from 240m on Prok unspotted but HERES the rub. our T34 was 70m away uphill and NEVER spotted the Borsig till he practically ran it over!!!! he had clear line of sight. only thing the Borsig has was a broken bush that gave it 300% god-mode camo rating

Less than 50 meters and you are automatically spotted sir. Thats what that beautiful white circle around your tank is on the mini map. Anything within that circle will automatically detect you.

not really... the prox detect system isnt perfect. as tank can enter and LEAVE the prox zone before the detection system refreshes. the spotting sytem does a spot check every 5sec and extends every 100m

Love all this "you can't say that the white circle auto-spot is a game mechanic just because WG says it is" I just hear "jet fuel can't melt steel beams"

Just because they say its a game mechanic doesnt mean it always works.Youre saying no games are ever released that have bugs or glitches? I guess you dont play many games.

Judging by my stats, I know exactly what I am talking about. So you can spout on and on about your fairy tales and continue your cheap jabs to try and get a reaction all you want. At the end of the day, I know what I'm talking about. WG has explained how spotting works, players have contributed to the wiki on just how spotting works. And again, evidence is in my stats, I know just how to take advantage of the camo+view range in my TDs. I know when you do and don't get spotted, and when it is safe to fire and when it's not.

+1 to hacket! i want that game version of WoT that apparently only WG owns where EVERYTHING is working as intended and god-mode camo doesnt exist (even tho 80% of the playerbase agrees it DOES)

this thing was two houses down from me in the city encounter battle at fishermen bay! I had south he had North spawn. Just past the bay. I was. And he was 2 or 3 house down. I was in my t95. With binocs. No other spot perks. Yes on bros. But I had alot of others with me also. Finally someone flanked him to see around the bush on

So the DS was 15 meters or more away from the bush (in back of said bush, the bush was opaque to the DS) and your teammate had to go around the bush to spot the DS?

There's your answer...

Lag it happens.

And pending on perks. The is a battle as to whom gets spotted first. With a delay given to whichever one has less spotting ability vs camo.

Think 1,5 to 3 second delay on senced detected. Also if a piece of ur tank is showing like the back end.

But ur opitics won't see them then also.

Lots of factors that camo just got STACKED THICK!:bush::coin:

 lol such a partypooper♠

True! But we lost five tanks doing this Marder push.♠ To have finally found him. Me t95, IS7, French light, patton46, E5.

All had surcomed to the Deathstar. Guy had a 8,500 damage and 6 kill's. Patton was able to flank him so I could get a shot and a few others. Before he fried me and Patton later. He still had a little health left. Got to give it to him! This game was a brawl overall!!♠

Luckily we had two tier 9 heavies that went high road. Not in the city and did their jobs to win us the game!:honoring:

But I could just tell and by the swaying of the turrets. People where and I was too. Like??

“WHERE THE FUNK IS HE!!?¿" :B:angry:

So when u have those who's shooting me!? Or spotting me!? Moments. And not just before.

Only know its even worse meow!!♠

Has anyone even approached the fact that these perks are usually single-figure percentage increases, does the OP know the % difference of camo between a Borsig and a deathstar, I'd LOVE to have that kind of camo, but even with the spare 10 gold I had lying around to put on muffled shot, I don't think I'll be sitting 50m from a target and not be spotted for some while.
The spotting system is well documented and well tested, the plural of "anecdote" is not "valid data" its... odd... and perhaps it doesn't always work as smoothly as intended, but it isn't some great multi-headed hydra of errors that only ever helps the red team. given the (admittedly often bizarre) delays between the 50m auto-detect refreshes and the detected/6thsense/spotted notifications, its ridiculous to apply the level of certainty that some of you people are to "well I was in a game once with somone who blablalba"

Depends how you use bushes. If you use the properly you can often fire at someone from under 200m range and stay hidden. And that applies to any tank with decent camo not just things like the borsig. Trick is not to be the bush but to sit 15m behind the bush and fire through the bush to your target

Then you'd guess incorrectly, but you are at least admitting you are guessing rather than applying absolute certainty to your own poorly founded opinions.
