I personally don't mind the variants, I think some of them are strategically better than their originals in a few areas, Stadt Der Dunkelheit comes to mind for me. I think they also add a unique thematic spin on the standard maps to fit into the "Mercenaries" vibe(That's why we have Kitimat when PC has Serene Coast, among other maps that are the same by design but not name). I can see your point though and while reskins are pretty lazy and lame, I think if WG reskinned all the maps, Mercenaries could have a unique card to play that other WoTs don't: a fully thematic map rotation.

We all know WoT does public test servers on PC.  The Division 1&2 did/do public test servers on PC.  Anthem did a public test server....on PC  I'm seeing a trend.  

 

It's like I said on someone's youtube, cater to PC players and *expletive deleted* on the console players.

Another night with problems with the servers. Please can you sort your issues out. This is the first time I have felt compelled to contribute to these forums. You owe it to your very loyal community to at least explain why you do not seem able to maintain a stable server environment.

I don't think you quite hit the target with these changes. You're taking it too literally in this case. I.e. you will increase frequency of Malinovka while decreasing Malinovka Snow and Malinovka Rain at the same time?!? I mean don't you get that players love this map because of map layout and its terrain features. Wheter it's grass or snow or it's raining (this is the funniest one) it really doesn't change my feelings towards Malinovka as a great map in all of its variants. I even like that scrap jard reskin of Malinovka even though it's cramped with stupid obstacles.

Feedback for: Added Premium tank bonuses to the tank description on the Overview tab.

 

I'm glad the Dev's finally listened and added this info in-game.  However, this is another of those things I keep talking about when I mention the growing disconnect between what players are asking for and what Dev's are designing into the game.  I think the Dev's are trying to be genuinely helpful, but they don't seem to know how the players use a lot of this info.  That ends up giving the appearance like they don't play the game enough in actual matchmaking to see how these things are used in practicality.

 

This is the kind of info that should have been added so it shows up in the Garage Stats, so you can quickly and efficiently see it as you're scrolling through your premium tanks.  Somewhere along the right side or something, where it has Firepower, Survivability, Mobility, etc.  I picked several Premiums at random the other day and I'm able to pull up the Premium Tank bonuses quicker and more efficiently on third party websites than I was through the actual new in-game system.  Adding it to the Overview Tab, while I'm sure was a lot easier to do, kind of makes having it in-game kind of moot.  

 

It's like adding the damage counter indicators.  It's cool they finally added this much requested feature, but most of the time you can't use it, because you can't see it.  The white font gets washed out by the skyline the majority of the time because of where they placed it on the GUI.  Trying to see it on a snow map is all but impossible, because you can't point the camera down to the darker ground or something to try and make it out.  It ends up also getting washed out by the snow.  They should make the numbers the same font color as the "reload" numbers on the left side of the aiming reticle.  That would make it ten times easier to see.

That's weird... I don't see any improvements to the nerfed-to-[edited]Italian tier 9 and 10. Absolutely trash tanks since they came out on console and highly disappointing to the people excited for them.

The "Hold B to dismiss all" is very appreciated on the ops page, but it really doesn't need to be a hold. Can you please change it to just press B?
